“i-Tail recognizes the importance of increasing the proportion of energy derived from renewable sources, with the goal of further reducing reliance on fossil fuels. In 2023, the Company increased the use of biomass fuels for thermal energy production in steam boilers. This year, the factory managed to raise the proportion of biomass fuel used to 9,250.61 tons, replacing the need for fuel oil and coal in steam production. This initiative is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 11,002.11 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year.”
