i-Tail Corporation is internationally accredited by AAALAC International to demonstrate excellence in animal welfare and global research standards

Bangkok - October 21, 2024 - i-Tail Corporation Public Company Limited, represented by Mr. Pichitchai Wongpiya (second from the right), Chief Executive Officer of i-Tail Corporation PCL, proudly received a prestigious plaque recognizing its commitment to the highest standards of animal welfare for research and scientific operations from AAALAC International. The honor was presented by Dr. Debra Hickman, DVM, MS, DACLAM, DACAW, Global Director of AAALAC International, during a special visit to discuss future collaboration between AAALAC International and i-Tail Corporation. The discussions focused on exchanging knowledge related to innovative pet nutrition and promoting the health and well-being of pets. This included an overview of the i-Cattery, the cat food research center, which emphasizes animal welfare practices and research aligned with international standards and ethical guidelines. Notably, i-Tail Corporation Public Company Limited is Thailand’s first private company and the world’s only pet food manufacturer to be certified by AAALAC International. The award ceremony was held recently at the company’s headquarters.
